Initially, Tamsui Customs was modeled after the Japanese system, consisting of multiple departments.

Don't forget to enjoy some leisure time after work!

The second Customs Chief, Nakamura Junkuro, established the Club 50, which featured a playroom and a canteen for customs officials to relax, socialize, and dine. During their breaks, many customs officials would visit Club 50 to play tennis, game of GO, or billiards, or simply read the newspaper.
