Tamsui Art Gallery, TAG Opened in 2011, Tamsui Art Gallery is not only the first public green building in New Taipei City but it has also been selected as Taiwan "Diamond" green building. The site of TAG was previously a four-joined Japanese-style dormitory for police dependents during the period of Japanese Rule. The building itself preserves the tiles removed from the previous building, which are used in the interior renovation of the new building in order to keep the historic memory.
The tall chimney shape also becomes a significant landmark to attract tourists' eyes when walking along Zhongzheng Road or passing by the riverbank.
